The Noida 500 electric buses project is officially underway. In the coming months, Noida, Greater Noida, and the Yamuna Expressway area will see a full fleet of clean, electric public buses operating across key routes. It’s a major step toward greener, more accessible urban transport.

The rollout is expected to be completed within 250 days—roughly eight months. With a budget of ₹675 crore, the Noida 500 electric buses initiative will be introduced in stages. Noida holds a 48% equity share, with the other two holding 26% each. This also determines how the 500 buses will be split: 300 for Noida and 100 each for Greater Noida and YEIDA.
